Torsten Müller is a senior researcher in the field of collective bargaining, wages and trade unions in Europe. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Business Studies from the University of Warwick in the UK. Before joining the ETUI in September 2012, he did cross-national comparative research at the University of Applied Sciences at Fulda / Germany and the Industrial Relations Research Unit at the University of Warwick. He also worked as a research manager at the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions in Dublin / Ireland. He has, furthermore, been expert advisor to European and international organisations such as the OECD, the ILO, Eurofound, the ETUC and various European trade union federations. He is author and co-author of some 100 publications on collective bargaining, minimum wages and trade unions in Europe.
